Salee Hossein Alawi!
Salee
Alawi, age 9, was injured in November 2006 when an errant U.S.
missile struck near her home in Hasswa, Iraq. Salee's
brother, Akram, and another young playmate were killed instantly in the
attack. Salee lived, but lost
both lower legs near the knee. To hear Salee's story in her own words,

On
July 8, No
More Victims and UCC succeeded in bringing Salee to Greenville for
surgery and prostheses-- treatments unavailable to her under current conditions in Iraq.
Since beginning her treatments at Greenville Shriners Hospital, Salee
has made truly remarkable progress. To learn more about Salee's
treatment, visit her Greenville News web page at www.greenvilleonline.com/Salee.
Thank
you Caesar's Restaurant! Salee

Hurray

gracious welcome our guests have received at Ronald
McDonald House. Bill Sorochak and his staff have been
working overtime (literally!) to make sure Salee and Hussein feel
at home after their 7000 mile journey from Iraq. Southern hospitality
is most certainly alive and well at 706 Grove Road!
